Never Trust A Transcription!

It always pays to look at the actual record whenever possible!  When I found my great-great grandfather William Wayson, father of Ernest, I entered his middle initial as M. because that is what the transcribed record showed.  Using Family Search Records, I found the actual marriage record from the West Virginia Archives.  Now I am wondering if that "M" is really a "W".   Any opinions?  The record is on Line 12.
